If the independent films at The Beverly Theater don’t transport you to another world, the ethereal shadows cast down by the building’s exterior will.
The exterior façade and roof of the two-story, 14,457 square-foot theater is partially encased with custom perforated, white, metal screens which create a beautiful play of light, color and shadow on the terrace and courtyard where gatherings and live music events take place.
This not-for-profit, independent film house and performance theater was imagined by The Rogers Foundation to be the centerpiece of the “most creative corner in Las Vegas.” Flexibility was a fundamental aspect of this space. While primarily programmed for film, it also hosts live performance events ranging from concerts to book readings to storytelling events.
The theater is built with a telescopic, retractable seating system, acoustical wall panels, a pre-programmed state of the art audio-visual system, a theatrical lighting rig, pencil mics that descend from the ceiling and a soundproof sliding wall that opens to an exterior courtyard which allows the space to transform for various events with the push of a button connecting interior and exterior spaces.
